7 Lakes Curling Open
Top-level curling returns to Varese for the third edition of our international tournament, organised by Varese Curling and Jass Curling!
This year, we’re changing things up with a new name: 7 Lakes Curling Open, a name that reflects our area. Did you know that the Province of Varese is known as the Province of the Seven Lakes? A unique landscape of lakes, mountains and nature provides the perfect backdrop for two days of sport, friendship and fun.
In previous editions, we’ve welcomed teams from no fewer than 9 different countries! 🌍 Year after year, the tournament has become a special opportunity to wrap up the season together!
📅 Dates: 1–2 May 2027
📍 Where: Acinque Ice Arena, Varese
👥 Teams: max 24
🥌 4 games guaranteed
💰 Subscription fee: € 400/team (+ 40 alternate)
The tournament will kick off on Saturday morning and conclude in the late afternoon on Sunday, with refreshments and an awards ceremony for all participating teams. Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams!
To get the weekend off to a great start, join us on Friday evening for aperitivo at the ice rink, a chance to catch up and officially kick off the tournament! On Saturday evening, we’ll all head to a new restaurant for dinner together, with great food, plenty of laughs and good company!
And of course, our much-loved Curlottery will be back, along with new games and plenty of opportunities to have fun together!
